In the iMac and Mac Mini refresh which happened today, Apple have also released a special version of the Mac Mini with Snow Leopard server installed. Yes, you heard right, the Mac Mini server.
So what is Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server? It is a Mac mini acting as a server (which actually a lot of people were doing already). Instead of a DVD drive, there are two 500GB hard drives that give you all the power and storage you need to help your group work more efficiently than ever.

News of the Snow Leopard bug surfaced after a number of users experienced data losses on their machines running the Leopard operating system. The problem was mainly affecting people who had guest accounts activated before they updates to the Snow Leopard. A number of users have reported loss of several of their valuable data like pictures and other documents. Earlier this year, there were complaints of data losses in Sidekick handsets whose operating system was designed by a subsidiary of Microsoft.

There has been lots of brouhaha over the release of the trial version of Microsoft’s new operating system “Windows 7″. Chip maker Intel and Microsoft have now said that the new OS will save a great deal of power and also will have faster booting times. After all the negative criticism for their earlier operating system Windows Vista, Microsoft hopes that the new OS will perform as promised by them. With Snow Leopard set to be released in only a couple of days, what can be expected of the new “refined, not reinvented” version of OS X.
Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs first announced Snow Leopard at WWDC on June 8, 2008, with the first public demonstration being given at WWDC 2009 by Bertrand Serlet and Phil Schiller. After months of work it is now ready.
