Google Fined $14,300 per day

Google was fined by a French court for $14,300 a day till it stops showing copyright books. A Paris based court ruled this judgment on Friday. Google inc. was also asked to pay $430,000 to a French publisher La Martiniere, who brought out the lawsuit on behalf of other French publishers.

Now Mobile Search Engine War!

We have been seeing the war between Bing and Google search on web since Bing was launched by Microsoft. In a step further, now they are competing on mobile web also. Bing has an enthusiastic team that is ever modifying the features of this search engine to impress their users.

Internet giant has come up with yet another new feature in its search engine. By adding the new real-time search feature now in its search engine, users will be able search data in real-time. This was the first time that a search engine has attempted to include real-time search and delivering the most relevant information was that any search engine would aim for. The new service which was ready for the Internet will be rolled out worldwide in a couple of days.

New Property Feature on Google Maps

Property owners and estate agents in the UK have yet another reason to rejoice, Google maps UK is all set to release a new feature which will help them display their property as an overlap on Google maps. Though Google has refused to give any official confirmation on this new feature launch, plans of this were discussed in a conference earlier this week. Analysts say this new feature will be similar to the one Google started in Australia and expects its launching next year.

Google is always on a path to offer something new and better to its customer. The latest addition in this list is the brand new Gboard launched by Google on this Friday. At just $19.9 it can be a handy tool.
Packed with 19 colored shortcut keys to Gmail it can reduce your hand movements on laptop. This new gadget needs a USB port only for its working. There are keys like; starring messages, starting search and jumping between messages. This cool gadget was actually not created by Google but by a film producer Charlie Mason.

Fade Pattern on Google’s Homepage

Google, on 2nd of December 2009 announced a new look for its homepage. The so called a fade pattern, unique to itself being adopted by Google. This is a very interesting look for the regular users of Google like me.
When the user visits Google’s homepage, he is greeted by a blank page with just the Google icon and search button. Other links do not appear until you move your mouse. This new design was adopted after testing 10 similar designs.

YouTube’s New Addition for Deaf Viewers

Deaf viewers of video website YouTube now have some news to rejoice. The parent company of YouTube, Google has rolled out the new automatic caption feature that will help deaf users in accessing the video website better. The new service will initially be available only in English and only on thirteen channels which includes most of Google’s channels and others like Colombia and National Geographic.

Dell has succeeded in putting the first unpolished Chrome OS for their netbooks . Only last week Google has announced its code for chrome OS. Back with it came the Dell’s announcement about having got operating system up which run on 10v mini netbook. This would be interesting to see how it all works.
