In a bid to compete with upcoming music services like LastFM and Spotify on the Internet, MySpace has decided to come up with a UK version of the famous MySpace Music. MySpace claims that it will be the most comprehensive music service on the internet with a number of artists to choose from. The site will be offering free streaming of international and other artists and will serve as a platform for many upcoming artists and band makers.

MySpace music which has about 13 million accounts from the UK will be teaming with Apple’s iTunes to provide DRM-free downloading and it will be a new social music discovery service as quoted by site officials. MySpace also quoted that the new service will have audio, video and a comprehensive list of artists as a single package and the streaming wouldn’t have ads like in other free music streaming services. President of the site, Courtney Holt said that the expectations on the site are high as the site’ counterparts in the USA and Australia were performing well.
