Sony Ericsson, one of the world leaders in manufacturing mobile phones has recently launched the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 that runs on Google’s mobile operating system, Android. The Xperia X10 is the first Android phone from Sony Ericsson and it will be available in markets in the first half of 2010. The phone features an eight megapixel camera, GPS and comes with a touch screen. Users can download applications from the Android market of Sony Ericsson’s PlayNow service.
Sony Ericsson has also said that they had made the phone easy for people using Facebook and Twitter. The Xperia X10 runs on Version 1.6 of the Android OS and a 1GHz processor. The phone also comes packed with additional features like HSPA and Wi-Fi. Sony Ericsson hasn’t fixed a price tag yet for this Android phone and they also hope to release a couple of Android based phones over the next year.
