AVSIM’s Hacker Identified!

AVSIM is one of the leading websites serving the flight simulator community. The website that offers a great flight simulation experience was however hacked earlier in May and company sources say, he wiped out all the data in two of their servers. The company is said to have incurred losses of about $50,000 since the attack in May by the alleged hacker. Tom Allensworth, the CEO of AVSIM said, they had lodged a complain with the UK police to nab the perpetrator and that they have presented solid evidence to the police in this regard.He wanted the hacker to spend atleast sometime behind bars from what he did to the site.

The site which is considered to be the most visited flight simulator website on the internet was launched in 1996 and covered all aspects of flight simulation. Also, many people were of the opinion that the site had done a great contribution to the flight simulation community.
