An increasing number of people these days want all their books in electronic format and e-readers are devices that help people read such electronic book on the go. Amazon has been the market leaders in the e-reader market with their Kindle device but now there seems to be a new entrant in the e-reader market. Sony, has come up with its new device for e-reading. Named Reader Daily, the device with a price tag of $399 and has a touch screen with a storage capacity for more than a thousand novels. You can also download novels off the internet or “borrow” books from one of your local libraries for a time period of 21 days.
The new e-reader from Sony comes as a direct challenge to the Amazon Kindle that has been recently criticized for its rather high price tag of $489. the new device from Sony helps readers read their favorite novels both in landscape or portrait mode. With additional features like “borrowing” books and online access and a cheaper price tag, Sony’s Reader Daily is expected take over the e-reader market by storm.
