Data Robotics Announces Winners of Drobo Video Contest Four Drobo Enthusiasts Rewarded With Free Products for Their Creative and Compelling Videos

Data Robotics, Inc. has announced the winners of its Drobo video contest. Four winners will receive a free Drobo for their short video entries that explain either how the product positively changes the way their data is stored or how the product makes digital life better. The winners were announced in four categories:

Best Picture – Popcorn Island

Best Original Musical –
Ethan Benninger

Best Original Story -
Andrew Watt

Best Documentary –
David M. Hepburn Productions, Inc.

The contest was aimed at exposing new and interesting ways that Drobo is being used in the field and to increase awareness about the product. In addition, Data Robotics leveraged social media as a way to help facilitate the contest. The contest was announced June 2 on Twitter : to the company’s more than 5,000 followers and entries were posted on Flickr : . The winning videos were also announced on Twitter : and will be featured on www.drobo.com : in the month of July.
