Lenovo’s New 14-inch Business Notebook

Lenovo has released details of its new 14 inch business laptop the ThinkPad T400. The T400 has a carbon fibre shell, inspired by Lenovo’s featherweight ThinkPad X300, making it quite thin (only 2.1 cm) and relatively light. At the same time the T400 is no performance slouch. The T400 comes with the Intel 2.53 GHz Core2Duo processor, 2GB of memory (upgradable to 4GB) and a range of solid state drive storage up to 128 GB or if you prefer a 250 GB hard drive.

The 14.1-inch LED-backlit screen provides a native resolution of 1440 x 900. Other features of the T400 are 9.5 mm slim DVD burner or Blu-Ray player and an integrated 2.0-megapixel webcam.

The T400 is a business laptop includes a dock connector on the bottom and a fingerprint scanner.US pricing starts at $1,599 (£980) for the basic model.
