Adobe Reader 8.1.1 on Linux now supports Debian installer

Adobe have announced the release of Adobe Reader 8.1.1 on Linux. This release comes packed with scores of new tools and features and improvements in the user interface and performance.

There is now support for DEB package installer, in addition to the RPM and TAR.GZ installers as well as better integration with the desktop.

Other new features include  support for playing Multimedia-enabled PDF documents for supported media types (Play Flash, Real media) and support for participating in Shared Reviews along with other users of Adobe Reader 8.x on Unix, and Adobe Reader/Acrobat 8.x on Win/Mac.
