Not only is this a nice review of one of the coolest Linux distributions, one that does what it should do: give facts and figures, so readers can make up their mind, but also there is a new word coined: “siduxtive”. Hard to pronounce to some, the word pictures what sidux has become to lovers of Debian’s unstable branch, also called “sid”: a seductive way of handling the ever-so-fluid pool of Debian-sid.

Though there are some bad infos about using adept instead of sidux-recommended and only supported “apt”, other strengths like the outstanding hardware support are mentioned. It’s a shame that two other pillars of this distro where not mentioned, but I will do that now: the forum and the IRC (irc.oftc.net #sidux). There you will taste and see how good (friendly and helping that is) the community behind is.
