Cool USB flash stick modding

4 September 2007 No Comment

Check this out! It was given to me by a dear friend and had that silencing effect we all know. I went: “Why on earth didn’t I think to do that first?”

It is a usual USB Flash Stick ripped of it’s casing and resin-mounted in a hole drilled into some nice looking piece of branch. Simple, cool. The blinking LED isn’t visible any more, but for it’s coolness one can live with that!

Maybe I’ll build one into a nice piece of rock, though it might take ages to drill that hole…

This ones you can get at http://www.oooms.nl/usb/

Hats off to another cool ideea!
