Record streaming radio with RaimaRadio

15 August 2007 No Comment

RaimaRadio ScreenshotFor all online radio addicts out there, RaimaRadio (now at version 1.23), can play and record multiple online radio streams simultaneously, while displaying the cover art (if the song information is provided by the radio station), and saves recorded songs either split the into individual files or a single file per recording.

The program also supports scheduled recording, and my favorite, Recording Watch List, which allows you to specify an artist or song title and it will only record matching songs.

You can apply Winamp DSP effects during playback, browse and search a large library of online streams or just hit the “Play Random” button to listen to a station by region. You can add favorites, view your play history and save the cover art with the song file.

Here’s a list of the key features from their website:

  • Listen to and record multiple stations simultaneously
  • Create a schedule for automatic recording
  • Show album art for each song*
  • Save tag information to music files*
  • Ability to add more stations
  • Use WinAmp audio plugins
  • Access frequently used stations from the toolbar
  • Play random station
  • Play your recorded files
  • Information Panel
  • Cover Art Panel**
  • Limit Recording Size**
  • Check for new stations online**
  • Recording Options***

*Only if track information available from radio station.
** Version 1.20 and later(MP3 streams only).
***Version 1.23 and later
