13 August 2007 No Comment

This week Apple unveiled two new iMacs. The first is with a gorgeous 20- inch widescreen display (1680 by 1050 pixels) encased in aluminum. The second is a sweet 24-inch with a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels.

Both feature the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, DVD-RW, Firewire, USB, built-in iSight video camera, bluetooth, AirPort Extreme wireless networking and built-in 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet. The basic 20-inch version  has 2.0GHz processor with a 250GB Serial ATA 7200-rpm hard drive and the 24-inch model comes with 2.4GHz processor and a 320GB Serial ATA 7200-rpm hard drive.

Both have 1GB of RAM and the 2.4Ghz models feature the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB of GDDR3 memory (the 2.0 Ghz model has the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB of GDDR3 memory).

Cool! Hats off to Apple.
